Well done, Fawaz! I didn’t participate in the neolithic tradition because I simply didn’t believe in the bedrock why it was formed. I stayed behind, jollied with friends and celebrated in my own little way. I was insouciant about what the naysayers had to say.

However, the jury is still out. I won’t say it’s entirely good or bad to emulate the culture, but it is good to always do what makes you happy because life itself is fleeting, and you can create long lasting memories with or without practicing this tradition.
